First up Acure conditioner. I have heard about this conditioner a couple of times and also have spotted them in Whole Foods. But was never felt the “need” to try them. I was doing just fine with my Theorie conditioner so never felt like changing. Plus I don’t know much about hair care, except the fact that you should not over blow dry or use hot tools and the fact the oil massage are good for your scalp. I am not fussy about buying shampoo and conditioner either, but I do like my shampoo to be clarifying and conditioners to be moisturizing. When I was in Target this past week, the beauty consultant told me how excited she was about Target selling Acure line and how she loves this brand. I just decided to try it since I never do anything nice for my hair and man do I love it now! I have used it twice now and I can see a difference. My hair does feel soft and maintained. I took a shower late night and let it air dry. I didn’t use any hair product and went to bed with semi cold/wet hair. Usually my hair would be wild and all over the place the next day if I don’t dry it properly the night before but this time it wasn’t the case. Yes it was all wild but once I brushed my hair, it was just fine. I did have waves in my hair but the nice kind of natural waves with almost no frizz. I kept twirling my hair with my fingers which is something I never do. My hair was just so soft to touch.
Second is my long-lost love Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse which is basically a multi purpose dry oil. I have loved Nuxe product ever since I was introduced to them. I have used their lip balms, hand cream and this particular oil before. Nuxe products are really hard to find in Twin Cities area. The only way you can get hold of them is if you order online. I discovered Caudalie Divine oil shortly after which replaced Nuxe dry oil. But during last visit at my local Target I saw Nuxe display. You should have seen the smile on my face! I love the smell of all Nuxe product including this dry oil. The oil for some reason has that grandma-ish smell but I kind of like it. It reminds of my grandmother. I mainly use this oil on my body and not on my face or hair. It is a good alternative to body lotion or body butter.
So those are my new finds. Do you have any new products that has floored you with surprise recently?
