The other day I was in Trader Joe’s at the very last-minute of closing frantically looking for muesli when my eyes caught sight of something unusual but interesting enough for me to pick it up and read the whole description on the package. It was one of those nuts/seed blends. One of the sales associates passing by chimed in saying he loves it. I didn’t have a lot of time to think so I just bought it and boy that was a good decision…made in split second!
Of course I forgot to buy muesli. (I don’t think Trader Joe’s sells muesli). So instead I tried it over some Greek yoghurt. Instantly it reminded me of Chobani flips! As a matter of fact, I might just have discovered a cheaper alternative to Chobani flips. And not just cheaper but maybe a bit healthier as well since this nut/seed blend has superfood like Hemp and Chia seeds. Other than adding to yoghurt and cereal, I have tried it over salad and even over fruits and they all tasted delicious. It provides an interesting texture and taste to a rather bland salad!
